Brian G. Howell is Howell Veterinary Care Centers DVM and Medical Director.
Dr Howell was born in Detroit and raised in East Detroit. He currently lives in Casco Township along with his three teenage sons, Derek , Philip and Mark.
all of whom are very active in sports. They also love to read and go out to the movies.
In Dr. Howell's spare time, he likes to spend time watching his sons participate in sporting events. He also likes to bowl and go to the movies.
Dr. Howell chose the Veterinary field because he has always loved animals and enjoyed science class in High School. He went to work at a veterinary clinic and enjoyed it so much that he decided to pursue the schooling he needed to become a Veterinarian.
Dr. Howell went to Wayne State University then went to Michigan State University, earning a Bachelors degree in Veterinary Science in 1980, then continued on to earn a DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree in 1984.
Dr Howell's goal for the future at Howell Veterinary Care Center is to continue to provide Exceptional care for his patients and Exceptional customer service for his clients.
Dr. Howell is owned by 3 cats, Spartacus, Diamond and Pepper.

Sarah is a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Howell Veterinary Care Center.
Sarah was raised in New Baltimore, Michigan and currently resides in East China with her husband Dave.
In Sarah's spare time she likes to read and spend as much time as possible with her family and friends.
Sarah attended Macomb Community College and has an Associates degree of Applied Science. Sarah has chosen a career in the Veterinary field because of her love for animals and the enjoyment of being able to help them.
Sarah has many pets that are proof of her love and caring for animals. When asked about her pets, this is how she described them:

About DeAnn B.~
DeAnn is one of two receptionist at Howell Veterinary Care Center.
DeAnn was born in Detroit, raised in Richmond and now lives in China Township along with her high school sweetheart, husband Niles. Together they have two wonderful kids, Nicole and Logan.
In DeAnns spare time she enjoys being with her family to camp and go biking. Her family is involved in 4-H rabbit division and are part of the American Rabbit Breeders Association. They also own their own rabbitry called "Furry Treasures".
DeAnn has many pets to prove her love of animals and caring for them. DeAnn has 15 Jersey Wooly rabbits and 15 Mini Rex rabbits. She also has her dogs, Buddy who is a Golden Retriever, Dasher who is a Toy Poodle, Izzy & Oliver the Chihuahuas.

Tammy is a Veterinary Assistant and Office Manager at the Howell Veterinary Care Center.
Tammy works throughout the Care Center helping out where she can while helping Dr. Howell manage the Care Center and it's great team members.
Tammy was born in Mt. Clemens, raised, and currently residing in New Haven along with her son Bradley. She also has a daughter, Erin, who is away at college.
Tammy attended New Haven High School, studied Nursing and became a Certified Nurses Aide, which has been a great benefit to her understanding, not only in human care and medicine, but also in animal care and medicine.
Tammy chose the Veterinary field because of her love for animals and the realization that being around animals serves as a stress reliever and is a great source for relaxation and unconditional love.
Tammy has a few pets of her own who she loves to care for:

Tammy also has three playful ferrets named Kehly, Kyle, and Charlie.

About Julie J.~
Julie is a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Howell Veterinary Care Center.
Julie was born and raised in St. Clair along with her older brother whom lives in Florida and an older sister who lives in South Carolina. Julies parents still reside in St. Clair and Julie now lives in Sterling Heights.
In her spare time, Julie likes to bake, play tennis and go to the movies. Julie does bake the best cakes! She is our constant supplier of chocolate cake here at the Care Center.
Julie attended Macomb Community College and has an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. Julie says that she chose this career because she's always had pets growing up and wanted to be a veterinarian but didn't like all the math, so she went on to study for Veterinary Technology as a second choice.
Julie has several pets and was asked to describe each of them, this is what she said..

Cat has leukemia but is still the Alpha Cat,

Jessica is a Veterinary Technician at Howell Veterinary Care Center. Jessica's roll here at Howell Veterinary Care Center are to convey a history from the client to the Dr. and assist with any treatments needed.
Jessica was raised in Marine City and is currently living in Richmond. Jessica has a father and step mom and also has a mom and step dad, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. In Jessica's spare time she loves to be outdoors and in the warm weather with her friends and family.
Jessica graduated from Marine City High School and attended Baker College in Clinton Township to receive her Associate Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. Jessica chose this career because of her love for animals and wanting to help people better understand how to care for their beloved pets.
Jessica's goals here at Howell Veterinary Care Center are to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician after passing her board exams and to learn to better her skills by learning from the Licensed Veterinary Technicians currently working here at Howell Veterinary Care Center. (Since this posting, Jessica has passed her board exams and is now licensed by the state of Michigan.)
