IN-CLINIC LAB

The Care Center is fully equipped with an in-clinic laboratory.  The most current blood machines are able to run various hematology and chemistry tests, as well as thyroid and cortisol testing.  The lab is also able to run fecal samples, urinalysis, ear cytologies, skin scrapes, heartworm tests, and feline leukemia/feline FIV tests.  The in-clinic laboratory is important because these tests can be done while the client waits and the results can be known that same day.  The quicker the results are known the quicker the treatment can begin for the patient.
